Fife Cycle Routes
Meldrums is situated at the hub of the Fife Cycling Route, we can even store your bicycle for you!
Ceres - Pitscottie - St Andrews - Ceres (on and off road and is suitable for adults with older children)
This route begins and ends in Ceres (Approx. 19.5 miles). The Fife Folk Museum tells the story of the people who lived off the land in these parts. The route leads you out of the heart of the Howe and towards the coast at St Andrews, famous for golf and Scotland’s oldest university but with many more stories to tell at its Castle, Cathedral, 3 museums and Sea Life Centre. As you cycle between the communities, you’ll see the rich farmland with many fine old farmsteads.

Walking - Fife Costal Path

For the sportsman nearby Teasses Estate offers our guests the opportunity to fish a beautiful loch well stocked with rainbow trout and even the elusive brown trout. Teasses also offer clay pigeon shooting and during shooting season pheasant, partridge and duck.

For more sedate activities Ceres is the home of the world famous Wemyss Ware pottery. The pottery is a stones throw from Meldrums Hotel and boasts an attractive visitor's centre where you can watch the potters and painters at work
